The Senior Specialist, Business Management (Hydrogen) at ADNOC HQ in Abu Dhabi is responsible for evaluating and developing opportunities for investors to engage in the Hydrogen Business, aligning with the Downstream Marketing & Trading Directorate's strategy. The role involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve alignment throughout the investor engagement process. The specialist will develop and foster networks within the local and international hydrogen industry to identify specific opportunities for ADNOC. Responsibilities include supporting the identification, evaluation, and execution of business development initiatives related to hydrogen and its derivatives (including LH2, LOHC, SAF, Ammonia, e-fuels), managing investor portfolios, qualifying leads, and preparing negotiations and contracts. The role also encompasses conducting techno-economic feasibility studies, due diligence, and market analysis to identify areas of opportunity, as well as evaluating new technologies from techno-commercial and market perspectives. The specialist will contribute to the governance and asset management of ADNOC's clean hydrogen joint ventures and support the execution of commercial elements of pilot and demonstration projects. Additionally, the role includes planning, supervising, and coordinating activities to meet functional objectives, training and developing staff, providing input for budget preparation, implementing approved policies and procedures, contributing to performance objectives, and designing and implementing tools and techniques for process improvement. Compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, and sustainability guidelines is also a key aspect of the role.
