Job description
Transguard Group, the UAEās most trusted business support and outsourcing provider with 50,000 employees, is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join its HQ in Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). The role involves developing new business and increasing revenue within the assigned business unit. The ideal candidate will possess an established client/vendor network and understand the tendering processes across the Emirates. The position entails engaging with senior decision-makers, networking, and driving opportunities through to close. Responsibilities span financial target achievement, client engagement, process adherence, innovation, and sales strategy execution.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Achieve / exceed sales targets
- Ensure a healthy pipeline that exceeds revenue targets
- Develop key client target lists to secure sales
- Provide weekly and monthly reports and sales forecasts
- Understand Transguardās business areas and differentiators for sales pitches
- Gather competitor intelligence and assess their products/services
- Collaborate with internal teams to create client-focused solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for sales-related queries
- Adhere strictly to the order validation and Salesforce processes
- Oversee contract negotiations between client, Legal and Commercial teams
- Review client documentation including RFPs, scope of work, and tender documents
- Work with pricing teams to prepare accurate quotes with necessary approvals
- Identify and research market opportunities in new and existing segments
- Deliver pitches and presentations to prospective clients
- Cross-sell Transguardās services across clients
- Provide market intelligence for sales strategy planning
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of sales experience
- 3+ years in a related industry
- Industry-specific education or certification as per business unit
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate terms and conditions
- Creative and strategic thinking ability
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow processes
- Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
- Ability to build strong internal relationships
- Experience in financial summary preparation for pricing
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems like Salesforce
- Understanding of UAE laws and regulations
