Job description
HSBC is hiring a Director for its Onshore Private Banking division in Dubai to manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. This role is responsible for delivering full-service banking, acquiring new clients, managing migrations from Premier Wealth, and enhancing client profitability. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of private banking products and regulatory requirements, along with the ability to grow AUM and generate consistent revenue. The role offers hybrid working flexibility and access to a global platform for career growth.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth clients to increase AUM, revenue, and client satisfaction.
- Provide full-service private banking solutions, including investment advisory, financing, and wealth management products.
- Develop new client relationships and support smooth transition of Premier Wealth clients into Private Banking.
- Achieve strong inflows of Net New Money (NNM) and drive ROTCP and ROA metrics.
- Cross-sell HSBC products such as mortgages and personal lending to meet client needs.
- Support internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory requirements in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Platform Managers and Risk & Compliance teams to resolve KYC, CCR, and risk management items.
- Work collaboratively with internal business units and maintain high service standards in client servicing.
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree is mandatory to secure UAE work authorization.
- SCA qualification required for regulatory compliance.
- Proven success in managing and growing a book of high-net-worth clients in private banking or wealth management.
- Strong product knowledge of wealth, lending, and investment solutions tailored to affluent clients.
- Demonstrated excellence in commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building.
- Experience in onboarding, compliance, and delivering regulatory-compliant client solutions.
- Track record of increasing client AUM and delivering high revenue contributions.
