Job description
Al-Futtaim Retail runs more than 75 Marks & Spencer stores across its regions, offering both fashion and food, and this Store Manager leads one of them in Kuwait. Sales come first, with a plan to deliver across key departments in store and through digital channels. Regular review of Management Information (MI) shows where performance can be pushed further, and strong internal and external relationships help build footfall. On the shop floor, customer experience is managed through service measures, feedback and quick resolution of complaints. Ready to Trade Standards keep the store safe, clean and properly presented, working with the visual team on merchandising. Profitability depends on controlling operating costs, minimising losses and matching staffing levels and the staffing budget to customer demand. A committed team sits behind all of this, and you coach them, build a talent pipeline for succession and apply HR policies fairly. Expect to bring 10+ years of retail or F&B sales experience, a graduate university degree and knowledge of F&B hygiene and certification.
