Job description
The Maintenance Supervisor at Agility Logistics Parks is responsible for leading the maintenance team and ensuring all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition. The role oversees maintenance work, develops preventive maintenance programs, conducts inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. The supervisor manages repair projects, collaborates with other departments to align maintenance schedules with operational needs, and maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory usage. The position requires budget management, preparation of reports on work performed, and fostering a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This role demands strong leadership, technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, familiarity with maintenance management software, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for facilities and equipment to ensure high operational availability and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Oversee all repairs and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff, promoting a culture of safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and coordinate maintenance schedules that align with operational needs and business priorities.
- Prepare, manage, and control maintenance budgets, including forecasting costs and monitoring expenditures to optimize resource use.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory used, and generate reports on maintenance performance and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and relevant regulations across all maintenance operations.
- Monitor team performance and implement corrective measures or process improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, facility inspections, and equipment repair best practices.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools for planning, monitoring, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Proven experience in supervising teams and collaborating effectively across departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to manage complex maintenance challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical/electrical systems relevant to facility and equipment management.
