Job description
Mastercard is seeking a results-oriented and client-focused Account Manager to join its Kuwait-based team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships, executing sales strategies aligned with Mastercardās regional objectives, and helping clients unlock value through innovative digital payment solutions. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and senior-level stakeholders, while contributing to the growth of Mastercardās footprint in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account-level sales strategies aligned with Mastercardās regional goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with key customers to drive revenue, market share, and volume.
- Provide consultative support and tailor Mastercard's products and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Contribute to sales and net revenue targets through effective account and pipeline management.
- Analyze client business through forecasting, profitability modeling, and competitive market assessments.
- Support strategic planning and proposal development for client pitches and business reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement account strategies and monitor progress.
- Participate in local and regional projects that contribute to Mastercardās broader business goals.
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the financial or payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of Mastercardās core products, services, and rules is a plus.
- Ability to analyze financial and market data to inform account strategies.
- Experience developing and managing annual business plans with clients.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various levels, including senior decision-makers.
- Must be willing to relocate and work from Mastercardās office in Kuwait.
