Job description
The Assistant Manager – Tech Assurance will be responsible for managing client engagements, ensuring high-quality audit and advisory services, monitoring team performance, and driving day-to-day delivery of objectives. The role includes planning and executing technology audits, facilitating client meetings, training junior staff, and maintaining financial performance metrics such as WIP, billings, and debtors. Technical expertise is required in business process cycles (Procure to Pay, Revenue to Receivables, Record to Report), ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), General IT Controls, Operating Systems, Databases, ERP Analytics, Cyber Security, Business Continuity Management, and Emerging Technologies. Experience in IT audit support or technology risk consulting within a Big 4 firm, preferably in the Financial Services industry, is essential. Candidates should hold certifications like CA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or CISM, or have an engineering degree with an MBA if not certified.

Key responsibilities
- Manage client engagements and ensure timely delivery of objectives
- Provide quality assurance and detailed review of audit work
- Lead client meetings and maintain regular communication
- Ensure SLAs and deliverables are met as per engagement terms
- Train and support staff to enhance performance and skills
- Monitor and manage financial KPIs including WIP, billings, and debtors
- Oversee transition of new projects and implementation of process changes
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in audit processes
Experience & skills
- Certified CA/CPA/ACCA (preferable) or CISA/CISM or Engineering Degree with MBA
- More than 7 years of IT Audit experience
- Experience in IT advisory or technology risk consulting in a Big 4 firm
- Working experience in a Financial Services institution (preferable)
- Thorough understanding of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), General IT Controls, and business processes
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security, Business Continuity Management, and Data Analytics
