Job description
The Loyalty Product Owner – Aviation role at Cognizant focuses on leading and shaping aviation loyalty products by applying deep airline industry expertise and best-in-class product management practices. The role is responsible for driving stakeholder workshops, defining and maintaining a robust product roadmap and backlog, and providing functional oversight of end-to-end product delivery through close engagement with engineering teams. The position contributes to account mining, business development initiatives, and thought leadership activities while mentoring junior team members and supporting practice development. The role requires hands-on experience with loyalty management systems, strong product management capabilities for large-scale projects, and extensive experience working within Agile delivery environments. The Product Owner operates at the intersection of business and technology, coordinating across onshore, offshore, and client stakeholders, anticipating delivery bottlenecks, recommending remedial actions, and ensuring alignment between aviation loyalty solutions and client objectives within complex IT and airline ecosystems.

- Drive business workshops with stakeholders to define and refine loyalty product requirements and priorities
- Create and maintain a robust product roadmap and backlog aligned with aviation loyalty objectives

- Mentor junior team members and support practice development initiatives

Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong experience in the airline domain with prior hands-on exposure to loyalty management systems
- Exhibit proven experience in product management concepts and delivery of large-scale projects using Agile methodologies
- Possess demonstrable experience working in a similar product owner or product management role within IT-driven environments
