Job description
Zakher terminal runs around the clock, receiving, storing and distributing ADNOC Distribution's ground products and JET A1, and this team leader supervises those supply operations. Product arrives by pipeline from ADNOC Refining in line with the 13 week plan and, at seaside terminals, by marine tanker through the jetty pipeline. Loading, unloading, back loading of vessels and pipeline deliveries to customers all need safe supervision and proper documentation, with quality control preventing contamination at every stage. Control room supervisors and operators report to you, so duty rosters, leave plans and training fall within the remit. Inventory is a constant focus, with daily reconciliation, monthly stock statements, dye blending ratios and product losses or gains held within approved limits. Meters, pumps, valves and the firefighting system are kept in good order with the maintenance team, while terminal automation issues go to the automation team. Work Permit audits under WMS, security seal checks, ISO, AIPS, PSM and HSEMS audits, and HAZOP, HAZID and HSEIA reviews are all part of the job. KPIs tied to the Annual Performance Management Contract and Balanced Score Card track how the team performs. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, science or business field and 10 years of oil and gas terminal operations experience, including 4-5 years in a supervisory role, are required.
