Job description
The Support Data Center Colocation Operations role is responsible for delivering end-to-end, on-site and remote support for NBI clients across Khazna, Meydan, and Masdar data centers, ensuring adherence to customer contracts and SLA/QCS requirements. Key scope includes providing support to the Technical Support Desk and Technology Teams for troubleshooting, handling on-site hardware replacement and incident-related investigations, meeting SLA response times for TTs (trouble-tickets) and critical CRs (change-requests), and supporting operational-level planning and optimization, escalation, and resolution of service performance technical issues. The role consistently exceeds data center colocation expectations by issuing critical reportsāPPM, power readings, and white space physical environmentāper client SLAs; reviewing and re-engineering business processes and procedures to improve performance and customer experience; and periodically maintaining and upgrading documents related to DC access, client SOMS, customer services guidelines, and the Doās and Donāts of DC. It requires service support/service delivery experience in an International IT/Telecommunications organization, a good understanding of ITIL for service management, and capabilities across basic fixed telecom products, Microsoft Office and Outlook, and shift-based operations. Preferred certifications include CCNA/CCNP/ITIL and UPTIME certification, with education at Minimum Graduate level or BSc Degree in IT, electrical or electronic engineering. The position handles each customer transaction end-to-end to ensure customer delight while overseeing achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards (SLAs).

Key responsibilities
- Provide support to the Technical Support Desk and Technology Teams for troubleshooting and supporting NBI clients
- Handle on-site hardware replacement and incident-related troubleshooting for client issues
- Provide Hands & Eyes support to all NBI DC operation clients residing in Khazna, Meydan, and Masdar data centers
- Meet SLA response times for handling any trouble-ticket (TT) or critical change-request (CR)
- Support operational level planning and optimization of services, escalation, and resolution for all service performance related technical issues
- Provide support to consistently exceed data center colocation customer expectations as defined in customer contracts and SLAs to ensure quality customer service objectives (QCS) are met
- Ensure clients receive critical reports (PPM, power readings, white space physical environment) on a regular basis conforming to client SLAs
- Review and re-engineer business processes and procedures to improve performance and customer experience
- Periodically maintain and upgrade documents related to DC access, client SOMS, customer services guidelines, and Doās and Donāts of DC
- Handle each customer transaction end-to-end and oversee achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards (SLAs)
Experience & skills
- Hold Minimum Graduate qualification; BSc Degree in IT, electrical or electronic engineering
- Bring a minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in customer service within an International IT / Telecommunications organization
- Demonstrate experience in Service Support and/or Delivery roles
- Possess good understanding of ITIL for service management
- Hold preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP/ITIL; UPTIME certification is preferred
- Show basic knowledge of fixed telecom products
- Demonstrate keyboard proficiency and PC skills (MS Office and MS Outlook)
- Be able to work in shifts and support on-site operations across Khazna, Meydan, and Masdar DCs
- Exhibit strong communication skills written and verbal in one, but preferably two of the following languages ā Arabic / English
