Job description
The Frontend Engineer at Huspy contributes to building the company's Real Estate Agent Platform and Mortgage Broker Portal across multiple markets including the UAE, Spain, and upcoming European markets. This role is responsible for implementing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions using modern technologies such as Javascript, React, Typescript, and Next.js. The engineer collaborates closely with product leaders, designers, and data teams to align technical development with product goals and client needs. Responsibilities include hands-on coding, taking ownership of technical deliverables, driving best practices in software development, ensuring the robustness and maintainability of product architecture, and participating in technical problem solving. The role also involves supporting cloud-based infrastructure, continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve business and technical objectives. Engineers are expected to foster a collaborative environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to Huspy’s vision of transforming the real estate and mortgage technology landscape through innovative, agent-first tools.

Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the Real Estate Agent Platform and Mortgage Broker Portal through hands-on coding and ownership of key technical deliverables.
- Implement and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions using Javascript, React, Typescript, and Next.js.
- Drive engineering best practices, including software development standards, code reviews, and adherence to architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to ensure alignment on product goals, technical requirements, and deliverables.
- Participate in technical challenges, propose solutions, and lead the implementation of innovative, client-focused product features.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure, with an emphasis on AWS, to ensure efficient deployment and reliable application performance.
- Mentor and guide other team members on frontend engineering practices, contributing to team skill growth and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, provide technical insights, and ensure solutions meet both user experience and business objectives.
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in frontend development using Javascript, React, Typescript, and Next.js.
- Experience contributing to and maintaining complex web applications with scalable and maintainable architecture.
- Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Data teams in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and inclusive mindset.
- Product-focused mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Dubai or Madrid, or remotely from the EU, with flexibility for relocation support if required.
