Job description

This Business Analyst role sits inside the Information Communication and Technology team at the company's Dubai Airport Freezone headquarters, working as the link between business stakeholders and IT. Business acumen, analytical skills and technical expertise all come into play here, translating business requirements into technical solutions that IT can build. You'll analyze business processes, workflows and systems to find opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains and automation. Requirements gathering sessions, workshops and interviews with stakeholders feed into business and functional specifications that development teams can act on. Internal and external developers and business units stay in the loop throughout, so solutions land on time, within budget and matched to what was asked for. User acceptance testing gets facilitated as part of the process, with feedback gathered from stakeholders to confirm that solutions actually meet their needs. Feasibility studies, impact assessments and risk analyses run alongside design and configuration work, checking for constraints before anything goes live. You're expected to bring proficiency in requirements management tools such as JIRA or MS Projects, along with a solid grasp of Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Training, documentation and user support round out the role once systems launch, followed by monitoring performance and recommending enhancements after go live.
