Job description
Accenture is seeking a Technology Strategy/Enterprise Architect Senior Manager for the Defense sector in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. This senior-level role involves applying deep expertise in technology strategy, architecture, and operating models to influence C-level agendas, lead end-to-end engagements, and drive transformation of technology functions in alignment with business strategy. Responsibilities include originating and closing business opportunities, collaborating across functions, creating thought leadership assets, and developing internal capabilities. The role requires proven consulting experience, a track record in IT/Digital strategy, and industry experience in the defense or military sector.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Apply deep technology strategy development, architecting value, operating model and architecture skills to influence C-level client agenda through technology insights
- Pro-actively interact and collaborate with senior management levels at client and/or within Accenture
- Lead complex engagements end-to-end across all delivery components including client satisfaction, value delivered, team management, and financials
- Originate business opportunities within a client and lead end-to-end the business development effort with client and Accenture teams until successful sale closure
- Drive leaders to transform the technology function to achieve operational excellence and tight alignment with business strategy
- Collaborate with business, technology and cross-functions to maximize value of technology investments and alignment to strategic priorities
- Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets that present innovative and action-oriented insights on market-relevant technology strategy
- Drive internal technology strategy skills, assets, and capability building
- Identify opportunities for collaboration across Accenture and ecosystem partners
Experience & skills
- Minimum 12+ years’ work experience, at least 8 years in IT/Digital technology strategy
- Proven and relevant past consulting experience, or strong in-house IT & Digital strategy/enterprise architecture experience
- Strong data-driven consulting skills focused on business and technology value architecting and realization
- Deep understanding of IT & Digital technology strategy, enterprise architecture, IT & Digital organization and operating model, cloud, data & analytics, IT cost reduction, and IT M&A
- Strong awareness of technology trends in the market context
- Industry experience in Defense or Military sector through direct work or consulting engagements
- Ability to shape client objectives and influence senior management decision making
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for technology strategy to achieve shared outcomes
- Proven business development and deal-closing capability
- Arabic speaker preferred and fluent in English
