Job description
FTI Consulting is seeking a Director for its Strategic Communications practice in the UAE. This role involves working on high-profile financial and corporate communications engagements across IPOs, M&A, ESG, and crisis management. The successful candidate will help shape clients' narratives for capital market audiences, including investors, analysts, and financial media. The role demands excellent communication skills, deep capital markets experience, and a strategic mindset. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor on financial communications and investor relations
- Develop competitive communication strategies aligned with client business goals
- Present insights based on financial analytics and strategic thinking
- Drive capital market communications including earnings, IPOs, M&A, and governance
- Engage with senior management, investors, media, and internal stakeholders
- Create investor outreach plans and key event support materials
- Manage project teams and coach junior consultants
- Support business development through market research and proposal development
- Represent FTI at industry events and networking opportunities
- Contribute to internal team strategy and innovation initiatives
Experience & skills
- 7 to 10 years in financial communications, investor relations, equity research, or ECM
- Strong understanding of capital markets and financial performance drivers
- Familiarity with buy-side/sell-side analyst landscape and business media
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
- Ability to manage complex, deadline-driven assignments
- Collaborative and self-motivated team player
- Track record of managing multiple strategic communications engagements
- Proven experience advising clients in consultancy or financial services contexts
- Ability to think creatively and translate complex ideas effectively
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
