Job description
Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a flagship luxury lifestyle destination within the Jumeirah portfolio, is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead and execute enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned with business objectives, scalability, and security requirements. The role is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives across the property, including cloud migration, automation, and cybersecurity enhancement, while ensuring robust IT governance, regulatory compliance, and data protection standards across all operational areas. The Director oversees IT infrastructure, networks, system availability, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity within a luxury hospitality environment that includes a resort, exclusive residences, an 82-berth superyacht marina, spa and fitness facilities, and curated dining experiences. The position manages IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to maintain cost efficiency and service quality, while leading, mentoring, and collaborating with IT teams and senior stakeholders to enhance operational performance and user experience. The role operates within a global luxury hospitality context, supporting Jumeirah’s commitment to distinctive guest experiences, technology-enabled service excellence, and secure, scalable IT operations.

Key responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise-wide IT strategy aligned with business objectives, scalability requirements, and security standards
- Lead and deliver digital transformation initiatives including cloud migration, IT automation, and cybersecurity enhancement programs
- Ensure robust IT governance, regulatory compliance, and data protection standards across all systems, platforms, and operational areas
- Oversee IT infrastructure, network architecture, systems availability, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity
- Manage IT budgets, financial planning, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to achieve cost efficiency and service quality
- Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams while collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance operational performance and user experience
- Support technology-enabled service excellence across resort operations, residences, marina facilities, spa, fitness, and dining venues
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 8–10 years of progressive IT experience with at least 3–4 years in senior leadership roles within luxury hospitality or enterprise IT environments
- Provide a proven track record in enterprise IT strategy development, digital transformation delivery, and cybersecurity governance
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
- Possess a Master’s degree in IT Management or Business Administration, which is preferred
- Hold professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
