Job description
ByteDance is seeking a Marketing Procurement Manager - EMEA to lead strategic sourcing across marketing categories and strengthen supplier relationships for optimized value delivery. The ideal candidate will manage complex procurement processes, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure governance and performance excellence across media, creative, digital, PR, and event-related procurement. This role plays a critical part in aligning procurement strategies with marketing objectives, leveraging market intelligence, and maintaining high standards of compliance and efficiency in a rapidly evolving environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Lead sourcing for media, creative, production, digital marketing, events, and PR services
- Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for marketing goods and services
- Develop strong, performance-focused relationships with key marketing suppliers and agencies
- Partner with internal teams to align procurement with marketing and brand strategies
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market research on pricing and supplier innovation
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks
- Develop and execute cost optimization strategies in marketing procurement
- Maintain and improve vendor performance through structured evaluations
- Drive procurement automation and systemization using tools like Ariba and Coupa
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree (Masterās preferred) in a relevant field
- Strong experience in procurement, with specialization in marketing categories
- Proven experience managing marketing procurement in a global or multinational organization
- Exceptional negotiation and contract drafting skills
- In-depth understanding of EMEA procurement regulations and marketing trends
- Experience with procurement platforms like Ariba and Coupa
- Ability to manage change and complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor engagement
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
