F5 ADC, WAFs, firewalls and the protocols underneath them, from TCP and HTTP to SSL/TLS and DNSSEC, are the daily toolkit for this Professional Services Consultant in Riyadh. Customers rely on you for guidance on implementing, configuring and maintaining F5 products, whether on site at their facility or data center or remotely. Projects run from problem identification and architecture definition through solution design, testing, client training, deployment and documentation. Engagement management is part of it too, including schedule monitoring, status reports and managing expectations and risk. F5 Support, Product Sales and Professional Services Sales teams are regular contacts, and sales presentations come up from time to time. Scripting matters, with F5 iRules, Python, Bash or Perl used alongside admin-level Linux and UNIX knowledge. AAA technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, SAML and RADIUS appear regularly, as do VPN and tunneling technologies. Travel can reach 70%, sometimes outside normal hours. Candidates bring at least 5 years in network or systems infrastructure architecture and design, ideally 2 in customer-facing professional services, with CCNP, CCIE or RHCE a strong plus.
