Job description
The Premier Acquisition Manager at HSBC is responsible for acquiring high-net-worth Premier customers with balance-based criteria (USD 120k and above). The role involves communicating the value of HSBCâs Wealth and Personal Banking propositions, cross-selling relevant financial products, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Premier Services, Relationship Management, Marketing, and Commercial Banking to meet acquisition targets and support long-term customer relationships. The position also requires strong market awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to offer product solutions for corporate client employees.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire quality funded Premier customers with balance-based criteria
- Cross-sell appropriate financial products at the time of onboarding
- Build strong business relationships to source high-value clients
- Effectively articulate the value and benefits of HSBC Premier proposition
- Refer customers to Premier Services / Relationship Management team for ongoing support
- Work closely with branch management and wealth management teams to ensure seamless onboarding
- Drive cross-sales and referrals beyond acquisition
- Support in locating, defining, and negotiating product solutions for corporate employees
- Contribute to achieving the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and develop effective counter-strategies
Experience & skills
- Graduation degree required for UAE Visa and Work Permit
- Proven experience working with and selling to high-net-worth individuals
- Strong understanding of WPB products, services, and global service standards
- Knowledge of developing and executing networking strategies
- Understanding of competitor activity and propositions
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage customer handovers to the appropriate teams
- Customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with HSBC Group and cross-business awareness
