Job description
The People & Talent Associate at AstroLabs supports employee experience and talent growth across UAE, KSA, and remote teams. This role encompasses end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, and pipeline management via ATS systems, ensuring accurate candidate tracking. The position also coordinates onboarding and offboarding for UAE and remote employees, managing documentation, system access, and asset retrieval. Responsibilities extend to performance and learning support, assisting in performance review cycles, identifying training needs, and coordinating learning and development initiatives. The Associate supports employee engagement through events, recognition programs, and culture-strengthening activities. Additionally, they maintain HRIS data accuracy, manage compliance via DMCC and UAE government portals, oversee medical insurance enrollments and renewals, and support people special projects including employee retention and employer branding. Employee relations and support functions include serving as a point of contact for queries, resolving concerns, coordinating travel bookings, and managing company assets. The role ensures a seamless employee journey, operational compliance, and a positive workplace experience across all geographies.

Key responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process including candidate sourcing, interviewing, coordination, and ATS management to maintain active pipelines
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for UAE and remote employees, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate documentation, system access, and asset management
- Assist in performance management and learning initiatives by coordinating review cycles, documentation, communications, training needs, and workshops
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, recognition programs, and activities to strengthen culture and retention
- Maintain HRIS data and employee lifecycle records, ensuring accuracy of contracts, leaves, status changes, and other personnel information
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor regulations, DMCC portal updates, and insurance administration including medical enrollments and renewals
- Support special projects related to employee retention, employer branding, and employee value proposition, including reporting, research, and process improvements
- Provide employee relations support by addressing queries, resolving concerns, coordinating travel bookings, issuing and tracking company assets, and maintaining a positive workplace environment
Experience & skills
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent Acquisition
- Familiarity with UAE labor regulations and DMCC processes
- Experience using ATS and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
- Ability to manage onboarding, offboarding, performance support, employee engagement, HRIS data management, and compliance tasks effectively
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, talent acquisition, learning and development, and special HR projects
- Ability to provide responsive support to employees, coordinate travel and assets, and maintain positive employee experiences
- Capacity to work collaboratively across multiple geographies including UAE, KSA, Lebanon, and remote teams
