Job description
The role of Senior Manager in Cyber Transformation & GRC within PwC Consulting involves leading digital transformation initiatives for clients in the Utilities sector. The position encompasses creating digital and technology visions, conceptual architectures, benchmarking current business and technology ecosystems against market leaders, and analyzing the present business and technology state across the Utilities value chain. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, designing technical solutions, integration touchpoints, data flow diagrams, and application data models. The role requires understanding digital transformation strategy and roadmap, business process study, root cause analysis, process improvement identification, technology consulting, automation opportunities, architecture due diligence, cloud implementation, and legacy architecture modernization. The position also involves providing technology solutions for business-critical applications, creating project proposals covering cloud computing, information management, automations, application development and maintenance, performing cost analysis and prioritization of initiatives, identifying total cost of ownership of digital solutions, client management, onsite coordination, technology due diligence, and preparing project-specific documents such as business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, and system requirement specifications. The role requires knowledge of Utilities ecosystems, technology solutions and modules, Smart Metering, Smart Grids, emerging technologies, architecture patterns, data analysis, and storytelling. Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Oracle, IBM, SAP, and TOGAF certification is advantageous. This position demands global experience in IT and digital transformation, particularly within Utilities Technology across the Water and Electricity value chain including Production/Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Retail.

Key responsibilities
- Create digital and technology vision and conceptual architectures for clients
- Carry out benchmarking analysis of current business and technology ecosystem of Utilities with market-leading Utilities
- Understand present business and technology state across the Utilities value chain and perform gap analysis based on voice of business/employee
- Engage senior stakeholders and lead sessions to solicit requirements for technical solutions, integration touchpoints, data flow diagrams, and application data models
- Understand digital transformation strategy and roadmap for clients with Utilities business knowledge
- Carry out business process studies, root cause analysis, process consultation, and identify process improvement opportunities
- Provide technology consulting, identify automation possibilities, and suggest potential solutions for business needs or problems
- Perform architecture due diligence, cloud implementation, and legacy architecture modernization
- Provide technology solutions for business-critical applications and create proposals for projects including cloud computing, information management, automations, application development and maintenance
- Carry out cost analysis and prioritization of initiatives and prepare roadmap to achieve objectives
- Identify total cost of ownership of digital solutions for clients
- Manage client relationships and act as onsite coordinator for complex digital transformation projects
- Conduct technology due diligence to analyze current client technologies and determine improvement opportunities
- Prepare and evaluate project requirement-specific documents such as business requirement document, functional requirement document, and system requirement specifications
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Business / Engineering or equivalent
- Master’s degree in IT / Business / Engineering or equivalent (Preferred)
- 10+ years of global experience in IT and digital transformation domain with over 6-8 years in Utilities Technology
- Understanding of Utilities ecosystem, user personas, and journeys
- Experience with key Utilities technology solutions and their modules including Billing Systems, GIS, Asset Management System (EAM), ERP, Field Workforce Management, CRM, IT/OT Integration
- Experience with Smart Metering and Smart Grids
- Experience across Utilities value chain for Water and Electricity: Production/Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Retail
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their use cases in Utilities such as Artificial Intelligence, RPA, IOT
- Knowledge of architecture patterns to design and architect Utilities technology solutions
- Strong data analysis and data storytelling skills
- Previous experience in digital transformation and Utilities technology engagements in the region
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Oracle, IBM, SAP platforms
- TOGAF certification is an added advantage
