Job description
The Senior Manager β Marketing and Sales for the Sports and Entertainment Company leads the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to establish the destination as a premier attraction within the sports and entertainment sector. This role is responsible for driving revenue, footfall, brand visibility, and partnership opportunities while ensuring alignment with the destination's strategic objectives. The incumbent develops and implements comprehensive marketing and sales plans, manages the evolution of brand positioning, tone, and visual identity, oversees the execution of 360-degree marketing campaigns including ATL, BTL, and digital channels, and supervises content production across media formats. They lead business development initiatives to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations, analyze customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales data to guide targeted efforts, optimize the destination's digital ecosystem including website, booking engine, and social platforms, coordinate major events and seasonal campaigns, establish KPIs, manage CRM and personalized marketing campaigns, and represent the destination at trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings. The role also includes preparing and managing the marketing and sales budget and ensuring cost-effective strategies. Managerial responsibilities include providing input to departmental strategy, developing department objectives and KPIs, contributing to budget preparation, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, overseeing staff performance and development, and ensuring the effective deployment of team members.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve the destination's growth targets and revenue objectives
- Manage and evolve the destination's brand positioning, tone, and visual identity across all channels including ATL, BTL, and digital
- Lead business development initiatives to secure partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to enhance commercial opportunities
- Analyze customer segmentation, visitation trends, and sales data to guide targeted marketing and sales efforts
- Supervise content production including photo, video, copywriting, and branded materials to ensure high-quality output
- Optimize the destination's digital ecosystem including the website, booking engine, and social platforms for engagement and conversions
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, grand openings, and major events with other departments to ensure seamless execution
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for marketing and sales to evaluate success and drive continuous improvement
- Build and manage relationships with agencies, PR firms, influencers, and digital partners to expand reach and brand visibility
- Oversee the CRM database and ensure effective personalized marketing and email campaigns
- Manage group and corporate sales efforts including proposal preparation, presentations, and client engagements
- Represent the destination in trade shows, exhibitions, and business meetings as required to promote brand and partnerships
- Prepare and manage the marketing and sales budget ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and strategic spend
Experience & skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within leisure, tourism, or entertainment sectors
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with both digital and traditional media platforms
- Expertise in integrated marketing strategy development and cross-channel messaging consistency
- Advanced skills in guest engagement, experience design, sales strategy, conversion optimization, commercial partnership development, pricing and package development, and stakeholder communication
- Intermediate proficiency in retail and rental operations management
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze data for sales and customer trends, and coordinate complex events and campaigns
- Experience leading content production and managing CRM systems to deliver personalized marketing initiatives
