Job description
Every employee at Inception42 depends on devices, identity, networks and cloud workspaces that work reliably, and this Senior Manager, Information Technology in Abu Dhabi is accountable for all of it. Azure sits at the centre, with Entra ID, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Windows 365 deployments under your oversight, alongside Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking and WiFi. Security is a major part of the role, covering SOC and NOC operations, endpoint controls through CrowdStrike, Forcepoint and Microsoft Defender, firewalls, content filtering and patch and vulnerability management aligned to NIST and ISO 27001. Compliance programmes for ISO, SOC2, GDPR and HIPAA have to be guided through certification. Vendors, suppliers and MSPs are held to their SLAs, and contracts are negotiated with them directly. DevOps teams work with you on integrating on-premises and cloud systems, while facility teams help maintain office infrastructure such as cabling and power. IT budgets, resource plans and training programmes are also yours to build. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or IT, with a master's preferred, and 15+ years of IT management experience, including 3+ in senior leadership and hands-on knowledge of SCCM, Intune, VPNs, SD-WAN and network monitoring tools.
