Job description
The Senior Specialist β HVAC (Non-Sterile) role is responsible for the compliant, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of HVAC systems supporting non-sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including production, packaging, warehouse, and support areas. The role ensures consistent environmental control of temperature, humidity, pressure, and air quality in alignment with cGMP requirements, WHO guidelines, and internal SOPs. Responsibilities include oversight of HVAC zoning and segregation to prevent cross-contamination, leadership of preventive and corrective maintenance programs for AHUs, chillers, exhaust systems, and ductwork, and active monitoring of HVAC performance trends. The position supports validation and qualification activities using risk-based approaches suitable for non-sterile environments, provides engineering input into new projects and facility expansions, reviews HVAC drawings and control logic, and resolves HVAC-related deviations, air quality issues, and energy inefficiencies. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, energy optimization, sustainability efforts, mentoring of technical staff, and regulatory inspection readiness within pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
