Job description
Large enterprises across the MENAT region come to AWS Enterprise Support for help getting the most out of Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, Networking and Serverless services. Working from Dubai, the Senior Technical Account Manager acts as their technical leader and carries the voice of the customer back to AWS product teams. Technical cloud strategies that drive adoption are yours to shape and carry out. Conversations with senior leadership cover operational excellence, cloud maturity, support and risk management, while day-to-day attention goes to keeping environments healthy and trimming cost and complexity. Reviews of service disruptions, monthly and quarterly metrics and pre-launch planning recur throughout the year. Alongside AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account Managers, the role helps customers solve problems as they migrate workloads to the cloud. At least 10 years in technical roles spanning distributed systems, cloud architecture, software development, platform engineering, data and analytics or AI/ML is required, along with customer-facing experience. Familiarity with foundation models, inference infrastructure, agentic systems, GPU compute, MLOps, EKS, ECS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK will count in your favour.
