Job description
End-to-end material management, from identification through offshore delivery and project closeout, sits at the heart of this Senior Offshore Material Coordinator role. You develop and apply project-specific material management procedures, reviewing and improving existing processes to close gaps and align with project scope. Procurement, tracking, storage, issuance and certification of materials, tools and equipment all fall under direct oversight. Inventory records, calibration logs and photo documentation stay current and accurate throughout. Stakeholders get coordinated with to keep material delivery timely and compliant, with procurement lists validated alongside engineering and construction teams. Bag & Tag gets implemented per work packs, with tools and surplus preserved and reconciled properly. Stock levels get monitored continuously, shortages identified early and procurement needs escalated before they become delays. Offshore teams receive real-time logistics and materials coordination support, while offshore AMRs get managed and storekeepers supervised for compliance. Logistics, customs documentation and cargo load-outs for sea transport all get coordinated to keep offshore material delivery safe and on schedule.
