Job description
Microsoft Dynamics AX and Oracle GRP are the systems behind most of the day-to-day work in this Dubai finance team, from recording transactions to producing reports. Accounts receivable is a central responsibility, with collections followed up promptly and accurately. Bank statements, intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts are reconciled regularly. VAT returns are prepared and filed, and Zakat contributions are calculated in line with UAE requirements. Cash flow reports and departmental cost allocations come from you, as does support for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and audits. Other teams often need financial insight or cost analysis, and you will provide it. This is a contract position in the BFSI sector. Two to four years of accounting experience and a degree in accounting or finance are required, with ACCA, CPA or CMA certification and Gulf experience preferred.
