Job description
Senior Engineer for MEP works, responsible for identifying nonconformities and instituting controls during technical audits and evaluations of construction operations, project planning, commercial and contract management, cost control, quality assurance, and various functions. The role also involves verifying contractor/supplier payments, material acquisitions, inventory management, cost booking, and asset oversight via a systematic concurrent audit methodology.

Key responsibilities
- Verification of construction activities related to project planning, estimation, procurement, inventory, execution, consumption of resources, storage, scrap, productivity, commercial billing, cost and revenue, QA/QC, logistics, fleet, admin and HR, technicians, labour supply, hire and service, assets, etc.
- Execution analysis, purchase vs production reconciliation.
- Verification of all monthly work done reports (actual execution), subcontractor payment certificates, service and machinery hire PCs, labour hire PCs, material reconciliation, and reconciliation of contra charges.
- Conduct periodic site audit, store audit, and asset audit.
- Preparation of daily audit tracker, internal audit reports, documentation of issues identified during bill certification, and tracking of cost savings.
Experience & skills
- B.E./M.E. (Mechanical/Electrical).
- Knowledge and experience in both civil and MEP works are an added advantage.
- Maximum of 8 years of experience.
- Experience in technical audits and evaluations of construction operations.
- Knowledge in project planning, commercial and contract management, and cost control.
- Ability to verify contractor/supplier payments, material acquisitions, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with QA/QC and logistics processes.
