Job description

This position plays a strategic role in driving subscription compliance, revenue protection, and customer education aligned with Red Hat’s subscription-based business model. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, Renewal, and Deal Desk teams, the specialist identifies compliance risks, reconciles subscription usage against entitlements, and ensures fair compensation for past and future usage. The role combines commercial acumen, contractual expertise, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven analysis to strengthen Red Hat’s compliance posture while maintaining positive customer relationships.

- Analyze assigned territory to identify compliance risks, subscription optimization opportunities, and revenue recovery potential.
- Develop and execute SEAP engagement plans in collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Renewal teams.
- Evangelize Red Hat’s subscription model, contractual terms, and value proposition to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively engage customers to review subscription usage, reconcile entitlements, and identify gaps between deployed usage and purchased subscriptions.
- Work closely with Solution Analysts to measure, validate, and reconcile subscription consumption data accurately.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying under-licensed deployments and converting them into compliant subscription agreements.
- Review and approve complex commercial deals in coordination with the Deal Desk team to ensure contractual compliance and alignment.
- Negotiate resolutions for contractual discrepancies while maintaining positive and professional customer relationships.
- Forecast, track, and report sales impact directly attributable to SEAP initiatives within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate third-party consulting engagements focused on subscription compliance and recovered revenue efforts.
- Develop and distribute best practices, educational materials, and subscription management guidance for regional sales teams.
- Create region-specific messaging and awareness campaigns to strengthen understanding of subscription compliance.
- Provide clear explanations of contractual terms and conditions in accessible language for non-legal stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent compliance initiatives while operating within active sales cycles and commercial pressures.

- Strong understanding of subscription-based software business models and revenue protection mechanisms.
- Experience analyzing complex customer usage data and generating actionable compliance insights.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve contractual disputes while preserving long-term customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing programs, projects, and revenue-focused initiatives.
- Ability to interpret contractual terms and conditions and communicate them clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with sales, channel, and renewal teams in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to forecast and track sales performance linked to compliance and recovery initiatives.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic or another MEA language is a plus.
- Ability to handle high-pressure sales cycle environments while ensuring fair compensation for subscription services.
