Job description
Travellers using e& abroad, whether on a physical SIM or a travel eSIM, generate the roaming revenue this Dubai director is accountable for. The Roaming P&L, strategy and roadmap sit with you, shaped by company objectives, customer needs, market trends and travel seasons. eSIM is a major focus, from discovery and purchase through installation, activation, usage, top-up and support, along with country, regional and global travel eSIM propositions. Roam Like Home, daily and monthly packs, multi-country offers and data passes are refreshed and priced to balance value, revenue and margin. Customer pain points such as network selection, activation, throttling, billing and notifications get tackled through the e& app and other digital channels. Wholesale teams work with you on commercial agreements, preferred network steering, coverage and roaming costs, while Technology, IT and Network teams handle integration and provisioning. Analytics, travel patterns and real-time triggers drive personalised communications from pre-travel awareness to expiry reminders, aimed at converting silent roamers into active users. KPIs cover revenue, penetration, attach rate, eSIM adoption and NPS, and business cases go to senior and C-level management. A roaming team reports to you, with succession planning and capability building part of the job. Twelve to fourteen years in telecom and a Bachelor's in Marketing, Management or Telecom are required.
