Job description
More than 100 Bain Academy masterclasses, covering strategic thinking, RAPID® decision effectiveness, Agile innovation, generative AI, consultative selling and the Net Promoter System, help clients build lasting capabilities. As an Associate Director based in Dubai, you design and deliver interactive learning programmes for clients across in-person, virtual and digital formats. Client Heads, Office Heads and case teams come to you for advice on capability-building needs and quick access to relevant content. Workshops, Train the Trainer sessions and blended programmes are tailored to each client's context and led or co-delivered by you. New learning assets are built with solution leaders, with room to pilot simulations, gamification and emerging technologies. Bain Academy's global strategy, marketing materials and periodic strategy reviews also benefit from your input. Current or recent experience as a Bain consulting Senior Manager rated Strong Impact/Contribution or higher, or mastery of the Manager, Bain Academy role, is required. Training experience on a global programme, team management in project settings and knowledge of areas such as MBTI, Agile/Scrum, Net Promoter System or coaching would help. Travel runs at roughly 20-25%, and the position is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities
- Advise Client Heads, Office Heads and case teams on client capability-building needs
- Share learning and development expertise with Bain and client leadership teams
- Identify relevant materials to support capability-building proposals and client discussions
- Provide rapid-response support to Bain teams seeking capability-building content
- Partner with account teams on client development activities and proposals
- Lead and co-deliver Bain Academy programs tailored to each client's context
- Design and facilitate workshops, Train the Trainer sessions and blended learning programmes
- Manage program execution from client alignment through delivery and participant follow-up
- Build high-impact training modules and immersive exercises with solution leaders and experts
- Develop learning experiences on Agile innovation, sales effectiveness, Net Promoter System, procurement and performance transformation
- Adapt internal Bain training content for external audiences
- Create blended programmes that combine live and digital learning
- Shape Bain's point of view on capability building and digital learning strategy
- Curate relevant external content with colleagues across Bain
- Pilot new formats such as simulations, gamification, interactive exercises and emerging technologies
- Refine and implement Bain Academy's global strategy with senior leadership
- Produce marketing materials that build awareness of and demand for Bain Academy offerings
- Contribute to periodic strategy reviews focused on client impact
- Support priority internal learning programs as capacity allows
Experience & skills
- Bring current or recent experience as a Bain consulting Senior Manager rated Strong Impact/Contribution or higher, or demonstrated mastery of the Manager, Bain Academy role
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to training, ideally as a trainer on a global program
- Manage teams effectively in project-based environments
- Communicate and facilitate with fluency in written and spoken English
- Work independently and take initiative with limited direction
- Collaborate across global teams, adjusting priorities and hours to meet client needs
- Travel approximately 20-25% of the time
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
