Job description
DP World is hiring a Group Vice President – Organisation Effectiveness to lead strategic workforce planning, organisation design, shared services, and global performance management across its operations. The role is part of the Group People Performance & Productivity center of expertise, responsible for building agile manpower planning, developing OD standards, managing HR shared services strategy, driving group-wide transformation initiatives, and overseeing global performance management. The VP will also deliver advanced workforce analytics, oversee global manpower cycles, ensure governance, and mentor a high-performing team while collaborating across Group and Regional functions to support DP World’s mission of transforming global trade and logistics.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) process aligned with business priorities and financial objectives.
- Oversee company-wide manpower planning cycle with stakeholder engagement and data-driven analysis.
- Enhance SWP strategies in line with global frameworks to ensure agility and scalability.
- Provide workforce analytics and benchmarking to anticipate skills requirements and validate headcount sizing.
- Design and oversee HR Operating Model and organisation design principles in collaboration with Group and Regional teams.
- Define and maintain organisational design standards including span of control and layering principles.
- Conduct periodic reviews of organisational structures and recommend improvements for governance and decision-making.
- Coordinate group-wide transformation initiatives and support regional transformation projects including centralisation and outsourcing.
- Expand and oversee Global HR Shared Services (GSC HR) strategy and ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Define governance framework and service levels for HR Shared Services in coordination with regional HR teams.
- Leverage technology and continuous improvement to optimise HR operations and cost-efficiency.
- Partner with business and HR leaders to implement innovative solutions that adapt to evolving workforce needs.
- Drive and continuously improve DP World’s global performance management systems and processes.
- Align organisational goals and strategies to ensure relevant outcomes and risk management.
- Analyse and report on performance management results and lead process improvements.
- Develop regular/ad hoc management reports including organisation charts, manpower summaries, and demographics.
- Collaborate with Regional People teams and Group Functions (Finance, Technology) to deliver performance and effectiveness programmes.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with goals and promoting collaboration.
- Act as ambassador for DP World, demonstrating behaviours aligned with values and Code of Conduct.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- 10–15 years of organisation design and workforce planning experience at a multinational company.
- Process improvement skills desirable.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex, multijurisdictional human capital programmes.
- Understanding of container terminal business process advantageous.
- Consultancy experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience implementing human capital productivity programmes.
- Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Excel.
- Very strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate inclusively across regions and functions with senior management.
- Effective business communication skills, fluency in English.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Proven credibility in technical expertise and ethical practice.
