Job description
The role focuses on MPM accounting transactions for both operations and corporate MPM, executing reports preparation from the Al Ain office while adhering to monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting deadlines. The position requires compliance with IFRS, precise general ledger preparation, accurate and timely financial reporting, comprehensive year-end audit preparation, and maintaining strong internal controls. Responsibilities include preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, special financial reports, auditing documents, reconciling financial discrepancies, ensuring financial security through adherence to policies, and collecting and analyzing account information and trends. The role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and ORACLE, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, confidentiality practices, risk management policies, and collaboration across departments, including supporting the operations team in daily accounting activities.

Key responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting and general ledger structure
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
- Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Ensure timely reporting of all monthly accounting information to owners and senior management
- Support operations team in daily activities related to accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to support company goals and objectives
- Maintain accounting controls by adopting defined accounting policies and procedures

Experience & skills
- BC in Business with an emphasis on Accounting
- Good understanding of Accounting
- PC proficiency with strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience
- ORACLE knowledge and practice
- 3+ years of experience
- Real estate and property management experience preferred
- Compliance with IFRS and internal control standards
- Ability to meet reporting deadlines across monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cycles
