Job description
The Cybersecurity Auditor (KSA National Only) for AWS Security – FSDC is responsible for planning and executing internal cybersecurity audits aligned with Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements, particularly frameworks and mandates issued by NCA and SAMA. The role supports external audit coordination, regulatory inspections, audit evidence collection, documentation for compliance reviews, tracking remediation of control deficiencies, and development of Saudi-specific audit frameworks. It involves reporting on audit outcomes, compliance status, and executing long-term regulatory audit initiatives. Responsibilities also include implementing data collection mechanisms, analyzing audit data, making recommendations, preparing audit project plans, and tracking audit lifecycle progress. The role requires navigating complex cybersecurity frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, validating security controls, and supporting AWS's cloud regulatory posture within Saudi Arabia. This position contributes to AWS’s secure cloud operations, ensuring alignment with local regulations while integrating global cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal cybersecurity audits aligned with Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audit activities and regulatory inspections.

- Develop and maintain audit frameworks specific to Saudi Arabian cybersecurity regulations.
- Report on audit results and compliance status to leadership.
- Develop and execute long-term regulatory audit projects and initiatives.
- Support metrics development, implement data collection mechanisms, analyze audit data, and make recommendations.
- Prepare detailed project plans and track audit projects through completion.
- Manage tight deadlines and ensure high accuracy and detail orientation in all audit processes.
Experience & skills
- Possess 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity auditing or compliance assessment.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of KSA cybersecurity frameworks such as NCA and SAMA regulations.
- Have knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks and audit methodologies.
- Show experience with audit documentation and evidence collection.
- Hold an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or IT Security Management.
- Fluently speak and write Arabic and English.
- Exhibit strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills for interacting with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Be a self-starter with a track record of working across diverse functional groups and independently.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, using data to support recommendations and actions.
- Ability to investigate and analyze technical and regulatory issues relevant to cloud services.
