Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair on equipment
- Install and repair pumps, gauges, lines, valves, compressors, regulators, and instruments at a craftsman level
- Test, assemble, disassemble, and conduct visual inspections of electrical and/or mechanical assemblies
- Identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques
- Achieve and maintain required Competency Assessments
- Perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation
- Utilize mechanical tools, tooling, and test equipment proficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints, and parts lists
- Follow formal procedures and standard maintenance practices
Experience & skills
- Diploma in Maintenance, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 0 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of machines, hand tools, and power tools used in assembly
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to perform torquing of components
- Experience in using overhead cranes
