Job description
The Specialist Completions / ICAPS Engineer for Subsea Cable & Piping within Well Head Tower offshore projects is responsible for managing and executing completions and commissioning activities across complex offshore oil and gas infrastructure projects. The role is embedded within large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) environments, typically exceeding US$ 1 billion in project value, and focuses on ensuring safe, structured, and fully documented system completions for offshore facilities including wellhead towers, subsea cable systems, and subsea piping networks. The position requires extensive experience in ICAPS-based completions systems and lifecycle asset management to ensure all engineering systems are tracked, validated, and handed over in accordance with project and client requirements. The role involves working across multiple phases of project execution including office-based engineering coordination in Abu Dhabi, fabrication yard activities, and offshore installation and commissioning phases under rotational site deployment conditions. The engineer ensures alignment with ADNOC project requirements and contributes to brownfield modification initiatives, supporting operational upgrades and system integration within existing offshore assets. Responsibilities include overseeing completions documentation, validating engineering system readiness, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. The role requires deep expertise in offshore oil and gas engineering, particularly in subsea infrastructure, piping systems, and high-complexity completions workflows. The position ensures seamless transition from construction to commissioning and final handover while maintaining adherence to project governance, quality assurance, and lifecycle integrity management principles.
