Job description
AlixPartners is seeking a Client Technology Applications Senior Specialist to join its Engagement Technology Services (ETS) team in Dubai. This role provides critical operational and technical support for eDiscovery and litigation-related software systems, involving third-party application support, data migration, server maintenance, and troubleshooting across complex environments. The candidate will play a key role in supporting data-centric business operations, enhancing system efficiency, and delivering high-level user support within a hybrid working model. Ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong SQL, system administration, and application support skills, especially within eDiscovery or legal tech environments.

Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support for eDiscovery and litigation application software throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Execute data migrations and transformations between various software systems and document the associated processes.
- Deliver end-user support for third-party and internal applications, including imports, exports, and system interfaces.
- Assist with general server administration, system patching, and software updates under guidance from ETS management.
- Participate in analysis and reconfiguration of application architecture for enhanced functionality and performance.
- Develop expertise in proprietary and third-party software tools like Relativity and Reveal to provide expert-level support.
- Contribute to ad-hoc and scheduled system upgrades, including maintenance and service continuity.
- Create and maintain system documentation including data maps, interface procedures, and configuration settings.
- Support the roll-out of new software applications and assist in testing and implementation efforts.
- Participate in SLA-driven service delivery, meeting user support timelines and quality expectations.
Experience & skills
- 3ā6 years of experience supporting complex software environments or enterprise-level systems.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and strong ability to write SQL queries and scripts.
- Proven ability to learn and support 3rd party enterprise software applications.
- Strong skills in Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022) and Windows 10/11.
- Exposure to eDiscovery or litigation support platforms like Relativity, Brainspace, or Reveal is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, .NET) is a plus.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Tableau, and Smartsheet is desirable.
- Bachelorās degree preferred; significant relevant experience may substitute.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with ability to support global teams and clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for global project delivery and support.
