Job description

The Senior Director - Design is responsible for taking overall ownership of design progress across assigned real estate development projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role leads and manages in-house design teams and external consultants across multiple disciplines including Architecture, Landscape, and Interior Design. The position involves identifying and engaging new designers and design studios to introduce fresh design trends and innovative ideas, preparing clear and comprehensive project briefs in close coordination with senior management, and managing external consultants and internal teams through the pre-concept and concept design stages. The role ensures effective multi-disciplinary design coordination to achieve full integration across all design packages, monitors and controls design quality in collaboration with technical and on-site construction teams, and ensures timely delivery of all design milestones in full compliance with project requirements, standards, and the overall project vision. The position requires extensive experience with leading developers or architectural studios and a strong background in early-stage design leadership.
