Job description
The Finance Manager ā Accounts Receivable is responsible for leading all aspects of billing, collections, and revenue accounting to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The role oversees AR operations, month-end closing, audit coordination, and system integration across Oracle Financials and other ERP platforms. The incumbent ensures timely collection of payments, accurate reconciliations, and adherence to IFRS, VAT, and RERA guidelines. This position demands strong analytical ability, financial acumen, and process optimization skills to enhance AR performance and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced real estate or construction environment.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Ensure all AR transactions are recorded accurately in the General Ledger and that monthly schedules and reconciliation statements are completed promptly
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all billings, journals, and adjustments are properly posted
- Develop, monitor, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for AR operations to ensure efficient and compliant transaction processing
- Coordinate with auditors during financial year-end and ad hoc audits, providing accurate data and implementing audit recommendations promptly
- Oversee preparation of management dashboards, statistical and regulatory reports, including AML, treasury, and RERA escrow audits
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and RERA TAS regulations in all AR processes and documentation
- Monitor AR balances, prepare aging reports, and analyze provisions for doubtful debts to support effective credit control and cash flow management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external brokers to validate commissions, revenue recognition, and adjustments
- Enhance operational efficiency by identifying process gaps and implementing control measures that align with best practices
- Maintain transparent reporting of AR performance and communicate resolutions of key issues to senior management
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Ensure seamless coordination between finance, sales, and project teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize billing accuracy
- Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, accuracy, and customer-focused financial service
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masterās degree preferred)
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is required
- 4ā6 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems (Salesforce and Yardi preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, VAT compliance, and RERA TAS/Escrow frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in the real estate or construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue accounting
- Ability to prepare and present accurate financial data and dashboards to management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
- Proven track record in process improvement, team leadership, and compliance management
