Job description
The Associate QHSES Assurance Specialist operates within an energy infrastructure and EPC construction environment supporting Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability (QHSES) Assurance activities across projects involving subsea infrastructure, offshore platforms, offshore wind infrastructure, and onshore energy developments. The role utilizes existing QHSES Assurance procedures to resolve routine or standard issues while receiving instruction and guidance from team members and leveraging conceptual knowledge of QHSES Assurance theories, practices, and procedures. The position supports QA activities on procurement packages including Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Mechanical packages within EPC construction and fabrication environments. Responsibilities include supporting QHSES Enterprise System implementation, monitoring system effectiveness, performing QHSES system reliability training, and assisting with system administration including data imports, record modifications, and system configuration. The Associate QHSES Assurance Specialist gathers user input to ensure company procedures align with system functionality, processes legacy data imports from previous management systems, maintains project profiles and approval records, and supports monthly QHSES KPI reporting for Directors. The role involves supporting internal and external audits, updating established procedures, preparing new procedures, and uploading documentation into UNIFI. The position requires knowledge of system design, development, testing, integration, and implementation within QHSES systems, as well as experience supporting EPC construction and fabrication environments. The role requires familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, system administration, stakeholder engagement, and reporting using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key responsibilities
- Drive QHSES strategic thinking and action across the organization by supporting implementation of QHSES Assurance procedures, system improvements, and operational compliance initiatives
- Perform routine QHSES system reliability training for end users acting as SME Super Administrator while supporting adoption of QHSES Enterprise System across project teams
- Monitor QHSES Enterprise System effectiveness and assist in resolving standard system issues including data management, user access, and operational workflow improvements
- Support project teams with QHSES system implementation, performance metrics tracking, and reporting requirements while ensuring compliance with project standards
- Review application specifications and procurement package requirements including E&I and Mechanical packages to ensure compliance with product requirements and quality standards
- Process legacy data imports from previous management systems into current QHSES Systems while assisting IT with front-end and back-end record modifications
- Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly QHSES KPI reports for Directors including system performance metrics, audit findings, and compliance tracking
- Support internal and external audits, update established procedures, prepare new procedures, maintain project profiles, and upload documentation into UNIFI while ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study supporting QHSES Assurance, Quality Assurance, or EPC construction environments
- Possess current Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 standards
- Demonstrate minimum three years experience in relevant industry related to EPC construction and fabrication environments
- Exhibit knowledge of system design, development, testing, integration, and implementation within QHSES Enterprise Systems
- Demonstrate experience performing system administration tasks including data imports, front-end and back-end record modifications, and system configuration
- Possess experience supporting internal and external audits, KPI reporting, and QHSES compliance initiatives
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, and analysis
- Maintain competencies associated with QHSES functions including stakeholder engagement, troubleshooting, and supporting project teams within energy infrastructure and EPC environments
