Job description
The Actuarial Associate Analyst role at Cigna Saudi Arabia, a branch of Cigna Worldwide Insurance Company, is a newly created position supporting the development of the local actuarial function in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The position involves extensive data analytics, reconciliations, and processing to support actuarial pricing and financial analysis activities. Core responsibilities include actuarial pricing across the Middle East and Africa region, conducting experience studies, setting book rates, establishing pricing assumptions, performing methodology updates, and supporting rate reviews. The analyst supports analytics related to medical cost drivers and trends to enhance the quality and accuracy of actuarial analysis and reporting. The role includes developing, testing, and maintaining pricing and underwriting tools, as well as supporting the monthly financial close process, including reserving activities, periodic review of key reserve assumptions, and communication of financial result drivers relative to forecast. The position also supports the compilation and submission of regulatory filings and works in close collaboration with Sales, Client Management, Underwriting, Product Development, and Finance teams.
