Job description
The role focuses on CI/CD and OpenShift AI engineering, requiring deep hands-on experience in automation, DevOps tools, container orchestration, cloud platforms, and security. Responsibilities involve working with Azure and AWS environments, administering and troubleshooting application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache, and implementing SSL and OS-level security controls including VA, compliance processes, and GPOs. The role requires a strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and GitOps methodologies using Argo CD, as well as hands-on expertise with Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Checkmarx. Candidates must have strong Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CNI experience, programming/scripting capabilities in Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python, and microservice architectures, and database migration skills across Oracle and SQL environments. Additional responsibilities include working with ELK monitoring stacks, managing container images using Docker and distroless concepts, handling IIS, Linux, and Windows OS environments, writing automation using Terraform, Groovy, and Ansible, supporting network and firewall troubleshooting, assisting with day-to-day web-based application infrastructure issues, and participating in Agile ceremonies. The role requires strategic thinking, research and development mindset, and strong communication abilities.

Key responsibilities
- Work with Azure and AWS environments to support CI/CD and OpenShift AI workloads
- Implement and manage automation across large-scale infrastructures
- Administer and troubleshoot application servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache
- Implement SSL, OS-level compliance, VA processes, and GPO configurations
- Apply CI/CD methodologies and GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD
- Use DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Checkmarx
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CNI networking components
- Develop and troubleshoot microservices using Spring Boot, NodeJS, and Python
- Perform Oracle and SQL database exports and imports across environments
- Monitor systems using ELK and troubleshoot containerized applications
- Manage Docker container images including distroless builds
- Support IIS, Linux, and Windows OS environments
- Write automation scripts using Terraform, Groovy, and Ansible
- Collaborate on network and firewall troubleshooting
- Assist in resolving day-to-day infrastructure issues for web applications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and apply project management methodologies
Experience & skills
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years in technical roles with hands-on automation experience
- Experience in banking or financial environments is a plus
- Strong CI/CD and GitOps knowledge, especially with Argo CD
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Checkmarx
- Advanced understanding of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CNI networking
- Programming/scripting experience in Spring Boot, NodeJS, Python, and microservice architecture
- Experience with Oracle/SQL database migrations
