Job description
The Director of Strategy (Digital Cluster) at AD Ports Group leads the formulation, execution, and refinement of digital and transformation strategies. This includes overseeing strategic planning, aligning strategic objectives across IT and digital functions, and driving large-scale transformation programs. The role requires collaboration across business units, internal and external stakeholders, and involves managing change, delivering strategic insights, and supporting M&A and digital innovation. This leadership position plays a key role in expanding the organizationās digital footprint and ensuring strategic agility.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the formulation, execution, and refinement of AD Ports Group's Digital & Transformation strategies.
- Ensure alignment of strategic objectives across IT PMO, Financial Management, Strategy & Adoption, and Digital Strategy teams.
- Manage and oversee annual strategic planning and budgeting processes across the organization.
- Drive execution of transformative digital programs, integrating change management and performance tracking.
- Continuously monitor transformation initiatives to stay aligned with business requirements and emerging technologies.
- Translate strategic insights into actionable initiatives and identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Serve as strategic advisor to leadership on M&A, partnerships, and expansion strategies.
- Report on Group Digital KPIs and strategy performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain awareness of digital trends and incorporate innovations into strategic roadmaps.
- Lead and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams across strategy and IT transformation areas.
- Promote development of team members and ensure alignment of individual and organizational goals.
- Identify skill gaps and support professional development across all managed functions.
- Define success metrics and regularly assess strategic initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Manage risks and implement contingency strategies within Digital & Transformation functions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, strategic agility, and continuous learning.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Strategy or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar strategic leadership role.
- Experience in strategy development and execution of large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives impacting business growth and efficiency.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Expertise in change management and cross-functional project leadership.
- In-depth understanding of digital trends, technologies, and innovation strategies.
- Visionary leadership with resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
