Job description
The Sales Manager - Middle East for a global luxury upholstery and leathers brand will lead the expansion and sales operations across the Middle East, with a focus on introducing and establishing a globally respected brand within the region. The role demands a strategic, proactive approach to identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the Automotive, Aviation, and Hospitality sectors while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients to drive customer satisfaction and long-term retention. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets, monitor market trends, and anticipate competitor strategies, ensuring the company remains competitive and achieves sustained growth. The Sales Manager will prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management, providing insights that support business decisions and strategic planning. This role also encompasses leadership and mentoring responsibilities, including guiding the regional sales team, enhancing professional development, and promoting a high-performance sales culture. The candidate must ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and maintain exemplary ethical standards in all business dealings, while representing the brand across diverse markets within the Middle East and travel as required.

- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across the Automotive, Aviation, and Hospitality industries, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term retention
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and logistics to achieve organisational sales targets and operational goals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic planning and proactive decision-making
- Prepare, analyze, and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management to support strategic and operational decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional sales team to drive performance, professional growth, and a culture of high achievement
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted in adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
- Travel across the Middle East region as required to engage clients, attend industry events, and expand business relationships
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in sales within the luxury upholstery, leathers, or related industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Strong understanding of the Middle East market dynamics, client expectations, and business culture
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing sales teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities to interpret market data and drive informed business decisions
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for dealing with diverse clients and stakeholders
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills relevant to the Middle East region are advantageous
- Willingness and ability to travel across the Middle East region as part of business development activities
