Job description
The Senior Sales Engineer role at Featurespace is responsible for providing technical sales expertise and commercial support for advanced fraud prevention and risk solutions within the payments sector. The position requires deep understanding of adaptive behavioral analytics, machine learning-based fraud models, ARIC Risk Hub, and Visa Protect solutions, including Visa Risk Manager, Visa Advanced Authorization, Decision Manager, and Visa Secure. The role involves delivering product demonstrations, articulating solution value, advising clients on integrating Featurespace ML models with Visa network intelligence, translating client requirements into technical solutions, supporting RFP responses, and collaborating with implementation teams. Awareness of payment ecosystem fraud vectors, regulatory frameworks (PSD2, EMV3DS, AML), real-time payment schemes, cross-border fraud, SCA, tokenization, and payment security standards is essential. This hybrid role in Dubai requires strong client advisory, pre-sales support, and engagement with fintechs, global banks, processors, and PSPs.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert throughout the pre-sales lifecycle for Risk and Identity solutions
- Understand and articulate the value of ARIC Risk Hub and Visa Protect in addressing payment fraud challenges
- Advise clients on combining Featurespace ML models with Visa network intelligence to enhance fraud detection
- Provide technical sales support including responding to RFPs, creating documentation, and addressing client inquiries
- Conduct detailed, tailored product demonstrations for prospective clients
- Maintain awareness of evolving fraud vectors, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends in digital payments
- Translate client requirements into actionable technical solutions ensuring Risk and Identity products meet expectations
- Collaborate during product implementation to ensure successful go-live within designated timelines
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, fraud strategy, or technical consulting within fraud prevention, payments, or financial services
- Direct experience with Visa Protect solutions including Visa Risk Manager, Advanced Authorization, Decision Manager, or Visa Secure
- Hands-on experience with Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub or similar ML-based fraud platforms
- Deep knowledge of adaptive behavioral analytics, transaction monitoring, alerting, scoring, model tuning, and decision orchestration
- Experience in payment ecosystem fraud detection including card issuance, acquiring, gateways, and wallets
- Technical familiarity with APIs, scripting, data mapping, and solution architecture
- Exposure to real-time payment schemes and cross-border fraud challenges
- Experience delivering solutions to global banks, fintechs, processors, or PSPs using Visa and third-party platforms
- Knowledge of SCA, tokenization, and payment security standards
