The Solutions Consultant Manager, Gulf Region is a senior pre-sales and technical leadership role responsible for managing the District Solutions Consulting team, guiding technical strategy, and delivering secure, high-value solutions to clients across the Gulf, including Dubai, UAE. This role operates closely with the District Sales Manager, ensuring alignment between sales strategy, customer needs, and technical solution deployment. The position entails developing and executing technical engagement plans, leading end-to-end solution validation, providing strategic guidance on Palo Alto Networks platforms, and serving as the trusted technical advisor for large enterprise clients. The Solutions Consultant Manager drives team performance by recruiting, mentoring, coaching, and managing high-performing pre-sales engineers, defining development plans, and supporting career growth. The role also ensures coordination with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to optimize solution implementation and adoption. The position requires deep technical expertise in network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC transformation technologies, as well as extensive experience in cybersecurity solution selling, design, implementation, and customer engagement. Frequent travel across the region (50–75%) is expected to maintain strong customer relationships and deliver technical presentations across all organizational levels. Fluency in English and Arabic, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within highly competitive, regulated, and complex cybersecurity markets are essential.

Key responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top-tier Solutions Consultants for the Gulf Region, building a high-performing technical team
- Lead, mentor, and review team members to ensure engagement, career growth, and technical competency in delivering cybersecurity solutions
- Support field Solutions Consultant teams in complex solution evaluations, problem-solving, and challenging customer environments
- Coach the team on technical validation best practices to secure technical wins and maximize solution adoption in assigned opportunities
- Define, create, and monitor individual development plans for team members and provide ongoing feedback
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of deployed solutions
- Provide expert technical guidance and thought leadership during customer interactions, sharing security trends, best practices, and methodologies
- Drive platformization initiatives within customer accounts to maximize value realization from Palo Alto Networks solutions
- Coordinate with Domain Specialist Manager and other internal teams to ensure optimal resource allocation for projects
- Serve as escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, solidifying reference accounts and driving additional business opportunities
- Present technical expertise to clients at all levels, from technical staff to C-suite executives, and position Palo Alto Networks as the preferred cybersecurity partner
- Analyze competitor products and market trends to inform strategic account planning and solution positioning
- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to provide customer-driven feedback for product development and feature enhancements
- Develop regional technical strategies in collaboration with District Sales Manager, identifying key verticals, markets, use cases, and engagement models
Experience & skills
- Experience as a pre-sales Systems Engineer Manager or Senior Systems Engineer/Specialist in cybersecurity or IT solutions
- Proven ability to deliver comprehensive security solutions including Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation Technologies
- Strong knowledge of security product market trends, competitor offerings, and technology roadmaps
- Experience in solution selling, technical validation, implementation, and customer adoption
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence clients and internal teams
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
- Quota-driven mindset with a focus on client success and trusted advisor relationships
- Willingness to travel 50–75% across the Gulf region
