Job description
The Senior Analyst - Fatigue Risk Management is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in Fatigue Risk Management within flydubai in Dubai, UAE, ensuring that all company standards, programs, and initiatives are developed, implemented, and continuously improved to meet the highest levels of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The role develops, implements, and maintains the Fatigue Risk Management Programme, ensuring ongoing effectiveness, alignment with industry best practices, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements including GCAA requirements and relevant ICAO Annex 1 License considerations. The position supports key operational domains including Flight Operations, Inflight Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance by monitoring fatigue and human-factors influences, ensuring a coordinated, data-driven and comprehensive organizational approach. The Senior Analyst facilitates introduction and integration of fatigue-related software systems such as AIMS, AMOS, and FRMs software to enhance reporting and monitoring capabilities, conducts comprehensive fatigue-related risk assessments and investigations, proposes mitigation strategies to Nominated Post Holders, and reviews, validates, and analyzes fatigue reports to assess fatigue causes. The role prepares executive-level summaries and presentations for the Fatigue Risk Management Safety Action Group (FRM SAG) and Management Review Board (MRB), develops and delivers workshops, briefings, and training sessions for management and operational personnel, attends FRM meetings, and develops, implements, reviews, and maintains the FRM Manual in line with regulatory, operational, and organizational requirements. Additionally, the position establishes and monitors Fatigue Related Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) in conjunction with operational departments, produces crew communications on fatigue-related topics, studies relevant research, safety publications, and industry guidance to continuously enhance the Fatigue Risk Management framework, and ensures compliance with ISR policies, Information Security guidelines, and required awareness sessions within day-to-day business operations.

- Develop, implement, and maintain the Fatigue Risk Management Programme ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance with GCAA requirements and regulatory standards.
- Support Flight Operations, Inflight Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance by monitoring fatigue and human-factors influences using a coordinated data-driven approach.
- Facilitate introduction, implementation, and integration of fatigue-related software systems including AIMS, AMOS, and FRMs software to enhance reporting and monitoring.
- Conduct comprehensive fatigue-related risk assessments and investigations and propose mitigation strategies to relevant Nominated Post Holders.
- Review, validate, and analyze fatigue reports, assess fatigue causes, and prepare executive-level summaries and presentations for FRM SAG and MRB.
- Develop and deliver targeted workshops, briefings, and training sessions to management and operational personnel on Fatigue Risk Management principles.
- Attend Fatigue Risk Management meetings to ensure operational and safety concerns are addressed and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain the FRM Manual in accordance with regulatory, operational, and organizational requirements.
- Establish and monitor Fatigue Related Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) in conjunction with operational departments in line with company standards.
- Produce crew communications on fatigue-related topics and study relevant research, safety publications, and industry guidance to enhance Fatigue Risk Management practices.
- Read and comply with ISR policies, report weaknesses or incidents to Line Manager or Information Security team, and complete required ISR awareness sessions.
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) in Fatigue management, Human Factors, Safety or Sciences.
- Demonstrate 7-9 years of experience in an aviation environment in a technical capacity or operational role.
- Demonstrate working experience in Fatigue Risk Management within aviation operations including Flight Operations, Inflight Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in AIMS, AMOS, and FRMs software.
- Demonstrate experience conducting fatigue-related risk assessments and investigations and developing mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of GCAA requirements and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Hold or have held a recognized ICAO Annex 1 License as a benefit.
- Demonstrate fluency in English with ability to prepare executive-level reports and deliver workshops and presentations.
- Demonstrate experience developing and maintaining an FRM Manual and Fatigue Related Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs).
- Demonstrate compliance with ISR policies and Information Security awareness requirements.
