Job description
The Service Advisor role at Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC is a customer-facing position within the automotive dealership Service and Bodyshop operations across the UAE. The role serves as the primary link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle drop-off through repair execution to final delivery. The Service Advisor is responsible for accurately capturing customer concerns, preparing repair orders, providing clear job explanations and cost estimates, coordinating with workshop teams, monitoring job progress, securing approvals for additional work, and proactively communicating service status updates. The role contributes directly to achieving service revenue targets, maintaining dealership and principal brand standards, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. The position requires strong technical understanding of vehicle systems, proficiency in dealership service processes, use of ERP systems and MS Office, participation in dealer clinic activities, and continuous learning through certification and skill assessments in alignment with Al-Futtaim values and operational standards.

Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers promptly and professionally while capturing all vehicle concerns and service requirements accurately
- Prepare repair orders with clear job descriptions, accurate cost estimates, and transparent explanations of required work
- Coordinate with workshop and bodyshop teams to manage job execution and monitor repair progress
- Obtain customer approvals for additional work identified during service or repair activities
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delays, job status updates, and completion timelines
- Conduct active vehicle delivery by explaining completed work, invoices, and service outcomes prior to handover
- Promote value-added services to support service revenue and sales targets
- Uphold dealership and principal brand standards through continuous learning, certification, and skill assessments
- Participate in dealer clinic activities to support performance scores and operational alignment
- Collaborate closely with Service Supervisors, Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely service delivery
Experience & skills
- Possess 3–5 years of automotive dealership experience with a minimum of 3 years in a Service Advisor role
- Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Demonstrate solid understanding of automotive dealership service and bodyshop processes
- Exhibit strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and service operations
- Show proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems used in dealership environments
- Demonstrate ability to achieve service revenue targets while maintaining customer satisfaction standards
- Exhibit capability to work effectively within a team-oriented service environment
- Demonstrate eligibility for internal application including minimum 18 months employment with Al-Futtaim and HRBP notification where applicable
