Job description
The Senior Real Estate & Facilities Specialist will manage day-to-day facility and transport operations across multiple office locations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and Middle Eastern regulatory compliance. The role requires proactive leadership in space planning, project execution, budgeting, and stakeholder management. This individual acts as the key contact for business units, FM vendors, and regulatory bodies while driving efficiency in facilities services and vendor management. The role demands strong technical understanding, project management capability, and leadership qualities, especially within multinational operational environments.

Key responsibilities
- Manage multiple end-user needs and oversee day-to-day facility and transport operations.
- Lead and supervise Facilities and Transport Teams.
- Handle space and resource planning including personnel relocations.
- Serve as central facility contact for stakeholders, vendors, and business units.
- Guide and develop team members through feedback and training.
- Oversee supplier RFP processes and liaise with FM vendors and contractors.
- Plan and control both OpEx and CapEx budgets; ensure execution and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with facility-related health, safety, and legal standards.
- Coordinate building maintenance (preventive and corrective) activities.
- Maintain records of assets, service work orders, and procurement documentation.
- Manage office site relations with building management and act as the main employee point of contact for facility concerns.
- Support real estate-related reporting and approvals in coordination with Facilities Manager/Director.
- Participate in technical evaluations, design reviews, and cost assessments.
- Represent the company in compliance interactions with local authorities (JAFZA, Trakhees).
- Conduct scheduled meetings, maintain project timelines, and manage reporting standards.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 7ā10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the Middle East.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a multinational environment.
- Bachelorās degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Facility Management.
- Real estate or FM-related certifications are preferred.
- Experience in construction and fit-out project management.
- Strong technical understanding of building management systems.
- Ability to manage vendors and review engineering/environmental/appraisal reports.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with JAFZA and Trakhees regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
