The Senior Investment Associate - Venture Capital role is a full-time on-site position based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia within the venture capital and investment management industry. The role supports the investment team in sourcing, analyzing, and evaluating investment opportunities across startups and emerging companies. It involves working closely with senior investment professionals to conduct due diligence, prepare investment recommendations, and assist in portfolio management activities. The associate is responsible for conducting market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities, performing sector and technology mapping, and advising senior team members on strategic areas of focus. The role includes analyzing financial statements and business models to evaluate investment viability, supporting financial and commercial due diligence processes, and contributing to valuation exercises, deal negotiation, and structuring of investment transactions. The position requires preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for investment committees, as well as involvement in closing investment deals and reviewing definitive agreements. The associate also contributes to the development of investment theses for transactions, supports creation of reports, blogs, and press releases, and actively monitors portfolio companies to assess performance and health. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other venture capital firms, contributing to overall firm strategy, and supporting administrative tasks as needed. The role operates in a fast-paced environment with exposure to startup ecosystems and emerging technologies, often requiring long working hours and occasional travel for deal sourcing and industry engagement.
