Job description
The Senior Manager – Project Acquisition at Bayut KSA is a strategic leadership role focused on sourcing, evaluating, and securing high-value real estate projects in alignment with the company’s growth objectives. The role requires extensive expertise in commercial real estate, financial feasibility analysis, contract negotiation, and market intelligence. The incumbent leads acquisition initiatives, conducting on-ground site visits, in-depth market research, and hands-on engagement with developers, landowners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing the contract lifecycle, liaising with in-house legal teams, managing portfolio oversight, identifying investment opportunities, performing data-driven analysis, and ensuring alignment with sales targets and company strategy. This role also focuses on building strong client relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams to design tailored solutions. Strategic thinking, innovation, compliance adherence, and proactive issue resolution are critical for success in achieving profitable and sustainable property acquisition outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify prospective real estate projects to meet annual sales targets, perform detailed feasibility and financial analysis, and negotiate favorable acquisition terms with developers and landowners.
- Oversee the contract lifecycle, collaborating with in-house legal counsel to review, negotiate, and execute contracts ensuring compliance with company policies and project objectives.
- Lead the acquisitions process hands-on, including conducting site visits, surveys, market research, and due diligence to validate project viability and investment potential.
- Interface with real estate developers, landowners, and the broader market community to source new business opportunities, evaluate investment feasibility, and recommend actionable acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions aligned with clients’ business objectives, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
- Monitor client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues promptly, and acting as the main point of contact to ensure positive experiences and long-term partnerships.
- Manage portfolio oversight, tracking project progress, and implementing MIS tools for effective administration and reporting to senior management.
- Drive process optimization and strategic improvements, applying data analytics and insights to inform decisions, anticipate challenges, and maintain alignment with company goals and market trends.
Experience & skills
- Graduate degree in Architecture, Business, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience, including 4–5 years in commercial real estate acquisitions.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabia real estate market, developers, and industry practices.
- Proficiency in portfolio tracking, oversight techniques, and operational control tools.
- Strong knowledge of policy creation and implementation procedures to ensure compliance and governance.
- Excellent analytical skills, capable of compiling and interpreting data to inform investment and acquisition decisions.
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across internal teams, developers, landowners, and clients.
- Experience in conducting site visits, market research, financial feasibility studies, and investment analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and timelines.
- Business-focused, strategically oriented, innovative, proactive, and able to anticipate issues before escalation.
